Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently manage food and beverage orders, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are preferred, but we provide training for the right candidate. A strong understanding of food safety and food handling procedures is essential to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of service quality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Ensure proper food safety and food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bar and dining spaces
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Uphold all health regulations related to food industry standards and food safety practices
Skills
- Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management abilities to handle busy periods smoothly
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and proper serving techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and billing purposes
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
