Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves independently managing freight transportation across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the safety and integrity of cargo. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, operational knowledge of heavy equipment, and a commitment to safety standards. As an Owner Operator, you will have the flexibility to operate your own vehicle while representing our company professionally on the road.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
- Manage freight documentation, including bills of lading and delivery receipts
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to minimize downtime
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL license
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and securement techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for automotive repair and troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills for managing routes, schedules, and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in various environments

Pay: $10,000.00-$120,000.00 per month
