Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a strong understanding of guest services
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume shifts
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices in the food industry
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and order calculations
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in fast-paced settings
- Enthusiastic attitude with a focus on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
