Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hospitality Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in hospitality settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel or industrial cleaning is preferred, but we are willing to provide training for motivated individuals. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies to ensure guest comfort
- Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure all areas meet health and safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, and other common areas within the facility
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
- Follow proper cleaning procedures using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols related to industrial and custodial cleaning practices
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold facility standards
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation (vehicle preferred)
- Basic cleaning or housekeeping experience (hotel experience is an asset)
- Ability to follow cleaning standards and instructions
- Must obtain WorkSafeBC POP coverage
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team environment
- Good communication skills and reliability in completing assigned tasks on time
- Physical ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 40 pounds, and walking throughout large facilities
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures is a plus
Pay: $18.25-$25.00 per hour
