At Andy Burnside - Desjardins Insurance Agency, we are looking for a Life Insurance Specialist – External Sales who can expand our Life Insurance business beyond our existing client base. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated producer who enjoys creating opportunities, developing referral relationships, and being rewarded for results.
For professionals with enhanced entrepreneurial ambition who demonstrate success in this role, this position can include training and mentorship to become a Desjardins Agent.
What You’ll Do
- Focus your time using 80/20 as a guide. 80% of your time focused on new Life business development outside our existing book and 20% on the existing book.
- Build relationships in the community, network, and develop your own Life leads.
- Educate customers about Life Insurance in plain language (no jargon, please!).
- Collaborate with our team to deliver exceptional service to our customers.
- Use the office as a hub for learning and connecting with teammates.
What We’re Looking For
- Current LLQP license required.
- Proven Life Insurance sales experiece.
- Experience with business development, networking, and achieving sales targets.
- Exceptional entrepreneurial spirit and drive to succeed.
- Strong communication skills and genuine love of people is essential.
- Positive attitude and sense of humour.
Compensation & Perks
- Base salary plus uncapped earning potential.
- Target compensation of $80,000 - $100,000+
- Typical compensation structure includes a $20,000-$40,000 base salary plus commissions and bonuses.
