About Kaffeine
Kaffeine Espresso Bar is a busy, locally owned coffee shop in the heart of downtown Bathurst. We are known for great coffee, friendly service, a modern café atmosphere, and being part of the energy of the Chaleur region.
We are looking for a Barista who enjoys people, takes pride in quality, and wants to be part of a positive, fast-moving team.
This is a great role for someone who loves coffee, enjoys working with customers, and wants a job that is social, hands-on, and never boring.
What You’ll Do
As a Barista at Kaffeine, you will help create the experience our customers come back for. Your role will include:
- Preparing espresso drinks, iced drinks, teas, refreshers, and other café beverages
- Serving customers with warmth, speed, and professionalism
- Taking orders and processing payments accurately
- Preparing food items and café products as needed
- Keeping the café clean, stocked, organized, and welcoming
- Following recipes, drink standards, and food safety procedures
- Helping with opening, closing, and daily cleaning tasks
- Working as part of a team during busy rushes
- Creating a great experience for regulars, tourists, students, professionals, and downtown customers
What We’re Looking For
The ideal person is friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented. Coffee experience is helpful, but attitude matters just as much.
You may be a great fit if you are:
- Friendly, positive, and comfortable talking with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work quickly while still paying attention to details
- A team player who helps without being asked
- Clean, organized, and willing to follow systems
- Comfortable working on your feet in a busy environment
- Interested in coffee, food, hospitality, and customer service
- Able to stay calm and focused during rushes
Experience
Previous barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

Schedule
We are hiring for full-time and/or part-time positions. Availability on weekdays and weekends is an asset.
