We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Runner to join our dynamic restaurant team. Duties
- Deliver hot and cold food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and professional manner
- Assist servers with clearing and resetting tables as needed
- Ensure all food items are presented attractively and meet quality standards before delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of service stations and dining areas throughout shifts
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate timely service
- Handle food with care, adhering to proper food handling and safety protocols
- Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
- Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns, providing excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry trays or dishes safely
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and serving etiquette
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with cleaning, kitchen operations, or hotel services is a plus
