Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems
- Performing preventative maintenance and routine servicing
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying required repairs
- Testing repaired vehicles to verify proper performance
- Completing accurate maintenance records and repair documentation
- Ordering, tracking, and organizing parts required for repairs
- Assisting with tire installations and supporting the Licensed Tire Installer as required
- Mentoring and supporting apprentices in repair and maintenance activities
- Other mechanical repair work as required.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ontario 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence or in progress
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed 310S Mechanic
- Postsecondary education in automotive service or a related technical program is considered an asset
- Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and repair skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid Class G driver's licence
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding work

Work Conditions
- Primarily based in our shop, with occasional travel to company job sites
- Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Overtime and weekend work may be required during peak operating periods
- Safety equipment will be required such as safety boots, hearing protection and safety glasses.
