About the Role
Tido Inc. is seeking a talented and motivated Integration Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in healthcare IT, electronic health record (EHR) systems, and integration engines. You’ll work closely with health systems across North America to support seamless data exchange, workflow optimization, and mission-critical system interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and maintain HL7, FHIR, and API-based interfaces across various healthcare applications.
Troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize integration workflows to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate with client teams to gather integration requirements and deliver customized solutions.
Work closely with project managers, analysts, and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Support interface testing, validation, and deployment for EHR implementations, migrations, and upgrades.
Document configurations, data mappings, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely support for production issues.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 1 years of experience working with at least one major EHR system: Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), or Meditech.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with at least one major integration engine: Cloverleaf, CorePoint, Rhapsody, or Mirth.
Strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, and healthcare interoperability standards.
Experience with scripting (e.g., TCL, JavaScript, or PowerShell) and data transformation tools.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in North American healthcare IT environments.
Familiarity with interface monitoring tools, APIs, and cloud-based integration platforms.
Understanding of data privacy and security in healthcare (HIPAA compliance, etc.).
