Business is Booming! The Carr Group, a national logistics company that provides last mile delivery services across Canada has now secured a long-term contract in Brandon Manitoba and seeks Home Delivery Independent Contractors for Appliance delivery and basic installation
Home Delivery Owner Operators with 24' and/or 26’ BOX TRUCK needed (lift gate an asset).
DELIVER Tuesday through Saturday with Sundays & Mondays off
Earnings per year will net you between $175,000 to $200,000. We have been in business for 114 years...direct deposit every 2 weeks, Automatic invoicing/billing, Automatic Pre-Calls...you concentrate on doing the deliveries!
How is pay broken down?
- $50 per stop (our mandate is to give you between 15-20 stops per day)
- All in rate (in town and out of town). We can give a higher out of town rate / but that means a lower in town rate.
- Accessorial rates will add an additional 5-9% to your earnings per day
We are looking for energetic, highly motivated Owner Operators - The Best Boss Is You!
- be home every night!
- Full time, steady work...we do NOT have shut downs!
- Per stop Rate + Accessorial
- Appliance Delivery experience is an asset
- Must own 26"straight truck, have WCB, insurance, swamper & running authority
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must provide own helper
- Physical Ability to lift up to 25-125 pounds
- Use of basic hand and power tools
- Mature, dependable team player
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver appliances in a safe and efficient manner ensuring no damages to products or customer property
- Provide customers with the highest level of service
- Updating handheld PDA device at every customer.
- Showing up to work - we have work every day and looking for someone responsible and wanting to perform every day.
