About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Packager to join their production team in Hamilton. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a clean manufacturing environment and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
The successful candidate will be responsible for packaging finished products, completing quality checks, and preparing orders for shipment while maintaining a safe and organized work area.
Responsibilities

Package finished products according to company specifications

Inspect products for quality, defects, and accuracy before packaging

Label, seal, and prepare products for shipping

Assemble packaging materials such as boxes, inserts, and protective packaging
-
Count and verify product quantities
-
Maintain accurate production and packaging records as required
-
Keep workstations clean, organized, and free of hazards
-
Follow work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures
-
Report damaged products, equipment concerns, or quality issues to the supervisor

Assist with general production duties as required

Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
-
Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or packaging experience is considered an asset

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Able to stand for extended periods

Able to lift up to 30 lbs occasionally

Reliable, punctual, and dependable
