We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Full-Time Mobile Security Guard to join our security team. In this role, you will conduct scheduled mobile patrols, monitor multiple client properties, respond promptly to alarms and incidents, and help maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. The ideal candidate is dependable, observant, and capable of working independently while adhering to established security protocols. Previous experience in mobile patrol, security services, or law enforcement is an asset. Responsibilities:
- Conduct scheduled mobile patrols of assigned client properties to ensure the safety and security of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding premises.
- Respond promptly to alarms, security incidents, emergencies, and client service requests.
- Inspect properties for signs of unauthorized access, safety hazards, vandalism, or suspicious activity, and take appropriate action.
- Complete detailed patrol reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs accurately and on time.
- Lock and unlock facilities as required, ensuring all access points are secure.
- Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch, emergency responders, and law enforcement when necessary.
- Enforce site-specific security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and courteous presence.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting tenants, visitors, and staff with security-related concerns and general inquiries.
- Monitor assigned areas to help prevent theft, property damage, and other security risks.
- Operate company patrol vehicles safely and maintain readiness to respond to multiple locations throughout the assigned shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mobile Security Guard, Patrol Guard, or in a similar security role is preferred.
- Valid Security Guard Licence (as required by provincial regulations).
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a company patrol vehicle.
- Strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and incident reporting.
- Experience using security technology, including surveillance systems, mobile reporting software, radios, and alarm systems.
- Excellent observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple patrol locations, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physically able to stand, walk, climb stairs, and perform routine patrols for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in fast-paced or emergency situations.
