Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/ Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport items between locations
- Load and unload furniture, equipment, or other goods using appropriate techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Assist customers with the moving process, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and courtesy
- Use proper lifting techniques for heavy items to prevent injury and ensure safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation
Skills
- Experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and customers
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving and transportation
- Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environments
- Valid driver’s license , especially AZ to drive a box truck with a clean driving record is required
