Duties
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate imaging equipment such as X-ray with precision and care
- Follow established safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff
- Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images for diagnosis
- Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including technical details and patient information
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure high-quality imaging results
- Adhere to all medical policies, including infection control, patient confidentiality, and safety standards
Requirements
- Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist ( CAMRT or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Proven experience operating diagnostic imaging equipment
- Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics
- Flexibility to work various days as needed
