Make an impact with our Forensics & Litigation Support team as an Analyst (Co-op) in January 2027. This diverse team of professionals combines accounting and investigative expertise to protect clients’ assets and reputation. As a trusted advisor, you’ll implement anti-fraud controls and resolve fraud emergencies, reducing clients’ exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing.

Responsibilities

Execute client engagements assisting fraud investigations, litigation support, risk assessments and other specialized proceedings or regulatory inquiries for a wide variety of clients, industries and disputes
Calculate and analyze economic loss claims, provide commercial advice, prepare financials and trace funds/accounts
Analyze financial data and participate in the development of independent expert financial reports and financial models
Assist with the development of project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

Skills and Experience

Pursuing a degree in accounting
Working towards, a CPA designation or other Canadian accounting designation is considered an asset
Working towards a Forensic designation is considered an asset
Previous public accounting or professional services industry experience; advisory or consulting experience is considered an asset
Ability to obtain Reliability Status through the Government of Canada Contract Security Program

Responsabilités

Réaliser différents mandats, notamment les enquêtes sur des cas de fraude, le soutien en cas de litige, les évaluations de risques et d’autres procédures requérant une expertise ou demandes d’ordre réglementaire pour un large éventail de clients, de secteurs et de litiges.
Calculer et analyser les réclamations pour pertes financières, fournir des services-conseils aux entreprises, préparer des données financières, et faire le suivi de fonds et de comptes.
Analyser les données financières, et participer à l’élaboration de rapports et de modèles financiers à titre d’expert indépendant.
Contribuer à la planification des projets et à leur coordination auprès des clients et des autres parties prenantes.
Fournir une expertise sectorielle et technique par l’entremise d’échanges avec le client, de recherches et d’analyses, de rapports, de travaux techniques, de présentations à l’intention de la direction, de propositions et d’autres livrables de haute qualité.
Trouver des façons novatrices d’offrir une valeur ajoutée aux clients; veiller à répondre à leurs besoins et à renforcer ces liens.
Participer aux initiatives de développement des affaires, et contribuer à la préparation et à la soumission d’offres de services concurrentielles.
Collaborer avec l’équipe de mandat.
Être disposé à se déplacer, au besoin.

Compétences et expérience

Diplôme en comptabilité
Titre de CPA, ou autre titre comptable au Canada, obtenu ou en voie d’obtention, un atout
Certification en juricomptabilité obtenue ou en voie d’obtention, un atout
1 à 2 années d’expérience en comptabilité ou dans le secteur des services professionnels; expérience en services-conseils, un atout
En mesure d’obtenir une cote de fiabilité dans le cadre du Programme de sécurité des contrats du gouvernement du Canada
