Dispatch job description

· This is a fast-paced job with lots of communication.

· Must be able to watch over 15-20 techs and delegate jobs.

· Enter data in computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities, and other information.

· Monitor the route and status of jobs to coordinate their schedules.

· Receive and dispatch orders for clients, reach out to all clients that you have received the request and techs have been scheduled.

· Receive calls and record significant information.

· Use of both a phone and computer to send techs to appropriate locations.

· Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule.

· Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions.

· Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance.

· Receive calls and emails to organize tech services and dispatch related requests.

· Provide all field techs with information about locations and any requirements.

· Make sure you are following up with techs after the call to see if job is complete, shut down needed or any parts. Log info so call is not lost. Check out everyday with tech’s

· Demonstrated ability to manage high-stress situations calmly and effectively.

· Ability to handle a high volume of customer calls.

· Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple, concurrent projects.

· Flip all projects and send job number to estimators

· Assist with any billing, invoicing and filing.

Responsibilities:

· Analyze resource utilization and generate reports as needed.

· Maintain extensive service records, ensure they are not lost, and calls are not lost

· Update customer with up-to-date information;

· Close and open calls utilizing dispatching systems.

· Handle customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.

· Receive, prioritize, and assign customer calls to service technicians.

· Coordinate and schedule inspections.

· Check in and out with techs.

· Set up maintenance agreements.
