Full job description

We are currently recruiting Administrative Assistants to support our clients across the Tri-Cities region, including Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Port Moody. Successful candidates will join our casual/contract administrative pool, providing short-term coverage and support as needed.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of administrative assistant experience using a multi-line switchboard
Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role is considered an asset
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Strong and accurate typing skills
eSkills assessment required (evaluates MS Word, Excel, Outlook proficiency, and typing speed - average is 45 WPM)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and contribute as part of a team
Flexible availability, including the ability to work on short notice and adapt to different workplace

Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a welcoming front office environment
Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries
Perform data entry, filing, and document preparation
Maintain and update records, logs, and databases
Schedule meetings and manage calendars
Assist with preparing reports and correspondence
Order and organize office supplies as required
Provide basic troubleshooting support for office equipment (e.g., printers, copiers)
Assist with meeting or event setup, including room arrangements and materials

Competitive pay: $21–$22 per hour
