Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert nutritional guidance, develop personalized meal plans, and support patients in achieving their health goals. This role involves collaborating with medical staff, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional customer service to diverse patient populations. The Registered Dietitian will play a vital role in promoting wellness and managing nutritional needs within our facility.

Responsibilities

Assess patients’ nutritional status through interviews, medical history review, and laboratory data analysis
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patient needs and medical conditions
Educate patients on dietary choices, lifestyle modifications, and nutritional supplements
Document all assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately using electronic medical records systems
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary to meet health objectives
Provide bilingual support to accommodate diverse patient populations when applicable
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies regarding nutrition services
Maintain a compassionate approach while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and their families

Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field; registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) required
Prior experience working in clinical or community health settings preferred
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and basic computer operation skills
Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly desirable
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
Knowledge of current nutrition guidelines, medical terminology, and healthcare protocols is essential

Pay: $27.10-$65.88 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Etobicoke, ON (Peel District)
