EssentialClinic.ca is an online men's health clinic treating hair loss, erectile dysfunction, and low testosterone across Canada. We're the top-rated medical clinic in Canada according to patient reviews on Trustpilot. We're hiring a BC-licensed NP to join a small clinical team and take on asynchronous patient visits.
We're a LegitScript-certified clinic. Our protocols are evidence-based and we follow the relevant provincial and federal rules for virtual care.
How the work looks
Patients fill out an adaptive medical intake before you ever see the chart. You log in to our platform, review the patients assigned to you, and prescribe when appropriate. If you need more information, you message the patient directly through the platform. Most visits don't take long once you're up to speed.
There are no scheduled video appointments. You set your own hours. We do ask that you check in at least once a day on weekdays so patients aren't left waiting.
What you'd be doing
- Reviewing intakes and prescribing for Hair Loss and ED
- Following up with patients through secure messaging when something needs clarification
- Helping us refine protocols when you spot something we could be doing better
This role focuses on Hair Loss and ED to start. Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) is part of what we offer, and clinicians grow into it over time if interested.
Logging in once a day to process your queue meets the bar. The clinicians who do best at our clinic check in a few times a day, weekends included, pay attention to details, and want to grow into new treatment areas as we launch them.
Compensation
Fee for service. Active clinicians on our team typically bill $4,000-$15,000 per month. Licenses in multiple provinces help — bigger provinces bring more volume, smaller ones still matter for coverage. Compensation also reflects the quality of your clinical work and team engagement.
