In this role within Asset Integrity, you’ll provide engineering with various quality assurance scopes, analyze in-line inspection data, and participate in threat reviews. You’ll support all ongoing integrity programs (Cathodic Protection, Internal Corrosion, Geotechnical, In-line Inspection and digs, Fatigue management, Facility) within HMGP, and ensure adherence to regulations and industry standards.

What you’ll do
While overall duties and opportunities may vary, typical role deliverables are as follows:
Perform quality assurance tasks and reconcile data discrepancies
Support the update of specifications and standards
Assist in the selection of integrity digs
Generate and maintain spreadsheets for tracking progress on initiatives and programs
Participate in and record activities of meetings with vendor partners and internal meetings
Support the completion of technical decision documentation. Conduct technical research
Participate in threat reviews, risk assessments and technical presentations
Who you are
Our ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications:
Education
Must be enrolled in a Mechanical, Chemical or related Engineering Program at an accredited post-secondary institution at the time of intended work term and returning to full-time studies after the work term OR registered in an accredited post-secondary co-op or internship program for the duration of the work term.
Candidates currently enrolled in either a master’s or Ph.D. program at an accredited post-secondary institution may also be considered.
New graduates are not eligible for student opportunities.
Working Conditions
May include some frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
