ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

McDougall Energy is expanding our Fabrication Division into an additional location with a new, fully equipped shop. We are looking for a mechanically inclined trades professional to fill the position of Tank Truck Fabrication Technician at our St. Thomas Fabrication Shop. This is a Weekday, Day Shift role.

In this role, you will be responsible for building specialized fuel and propane equipment, including tank trucks and trailers. This is not a production line. This is a build, repair, and problem-solving role working with equipment that will perform safely in real-world conditions. All team members will have a safety-focused mindset. We value your skills and offer an exciting work environment where you can grow with us.

ABOUT YOU:

The ideal candidate will be Part mechanic – Part fabricator – Part problem-solver with:

Strong Mechanical Aptitude and hands on experience
Comfort using Tools and working with industrial equipment
The ability to diagnose issues and think logically under pressure
Attention to detail and respect for safety critical work
Physically capable of working with heavy components and within confined spaces.
A Positive, reliable work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work independently while valuing team input
Mechanics roller toolbox and personal tools required
Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces
Strong safety-Mindset

Industrial Millwright (ticketed or non-ticketed)

Tank truck, trailer, or specialty vehicle experience
