As a Consultant SAP, Oracle, Tax Technology you will embark on a journey where technology meets tax to create impactful solutions. We are looking for individuals who are not only skilled in technology and tax principles but are also eager to learn, adapt, and apply their expertise in dynamic settings. In this role, you will be an integral part of a collaborative project team, focusing on the design, build, and deployment of innovative technology tools and processes specifically tailored to address the unique tax needs of our clients. Your responsibilities will include supporting the tax dimensions of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) using SAP or Oracle and other system implementations including a variety of critical tasks such as capturing business requirements, executing on the fulfillment of these requirements by supporting functional design, configuring ERP systems/tax technology for tax optimization, contributing in the architecting of effective processes, executing thorough testing, conducting comprehensive training sessions, and defining support protocols during and post-implementation.

R8dius’ founding investor and partner is Kitsaki Management, one of Canada’s leading First Nation economic development corporations and the economic development arm of Lac La Ronge Indian Band in Saskatchewan. Supported by Deloitte Canada, R8dius will widen the circle of opportunities for Indigenous Peoples and Nations to lead in the professional services space and engage in sustainable partnerships across Canada.
As an independent business, R8dius will operate with an Indigenous-majority board to deliver innovative and impactful Indigenous technology services in Canada, in response to the growing market need. R8dius includes a national network of Indigenous and non-Indigenous leaders, fusing unique perspectives and capabilities to deliver world-class solutions and technologies to clients across the economy to address Canada’s most complex challenges. As R8dius grows, it will continue to engage Indigenous economic development groups to invest in the business and drive economic diversification within their communities.
Certified as an Indigenous Business by Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) and the Canadian Council of Indigenous Business (CCIB), the ‘8’ in R8dius is representative of the Eighth Fire Prophecy – a First Nation’s prophecy related to creating a better future through aligning values of Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities. With a growing First Nations, Métis, and Inuit (FNMI) economy and workforce, economic inclusion, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development for FNMI communities will be at the center of the business to help boost Canada’s productivity and create new opportunities in professional services.

As an ideal candidate for this role, you possess:

Self-identifies as Indigenous (First Nations, Inuk, Métis)

Bachelor’s Degree is required with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and/or related discipline.

Relevant experience in Finance, Tax or IT related roles

Experience with SAP tax configuration (in FI, MM and SD) OR experience in Oracle ERP modules across Financials and Procurement is preferred.

Applications development/programming experience is preferred.

Ability to participate in all aspects of engagement strategic planning initiatives.

Ability to travel (mainly within Canada) depending on location.

Personal aptitude for information technology and computer science skills.
The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $102,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
