Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM, except Wednesdays are until 6:00 PM.

Your Role:

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

About You:

Registered as a Dental Assistant with the Nova Scotia Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
NDAEB certified.
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
