Full job description

DBG is a full-service organization that is committed to providing our customers with exceptional quality, on time delivery and cost saving opportunities. DBG supplies high quality metal stamping & fabrication to the automotive, heavy truck and appliance industries. At DBG, we rely on the strength and experience of our Associates for our success.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

To stamp and assemble parts for sub assemblies and finished parts for both inside and outside of the plant. Maintain customer quality requirements and specifications, while continually improving process (CIP)

SHIFT: 7:00am to 3:30pm
JOB TYPE: Permanent

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain and encourage a safe working environment and good housekeeping.
Must adhere to all safety Policies and Procedures and report all Safety Hazards or accidents to Team Leader.
Responsible for part quality, final inspection. Accurately complete all related paper work
Work in an efficient and safe manner to ensure high productivity, good quality with improved profits.
Ensure accurate scrap and production reporting and any other reporting as deemed necessary and approved.
Responsible for production related identification - C.C., WIP, R.M., REJECT SAMPLES
Must follow inspection plans, routings, setup sheets, work orders, kan ban system, quality awareness boards.
Some material handling may be required (i.e. pump truck, lift truck - starting or loading of coils) as well as Lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, stretching, sitting, standing inside and outside in various temperatures. Lifting up to 50lbs at times

Play an active role in determining and assisting in the implementation of continuous improvement ideas involving throughput and quality. Participate in team meetings, and cross functional improvement teams.
Responsible for accuracy of counts for all production ( may be required to verify quantities by weight).
Responsible to report all known errors to Team Leader or Production Manager for corrective actions or guidance.
Adhere to ISO/QS 9000 & TS16949 procedures.
Work as a Team Member in all situations.
Associate adheres to all Management Systems, ie. Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental
Responsible to continually upgrade knowledge and skills to ensure DBG's competitive advantage.
Responsible for ensuring profitability of assigned zone

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

2 Years in Metal Stamping

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
