Job Title: Center Rider Operator
Job Description
This role operates a center rider truck full-time to move, store, and manage products within a busy warehouse environment. You will handle pallets, perform high-reach put-away and replenishment, and ensure accurate inventory control using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.
Responsibilities

Operate a reach truck 100% of the time to move product safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.

Load, unload, transport, and stage pallets in designated storage locations.

Perform high-reach put-away and replenishment tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.

Maintain proper product rotation in accordance with inventory control procedures.

Follow established inventory control processes to minimize errors and product loss.

Scan and record product movement using warehouse management systems and RF scanners.

Use a pump truck to move pallets and materials as needed.

Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Essential Skills

At least 1 year of experience operating a center rider forklift.

Proficient reach truck operation in a warehouse environment.

Experience using RF scanners for inventory and product tracking.

Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.

External forklift license.

Ability to follow inventory control procedures and maintain accurate records.
Work Environment
This role is based in a warehouse environment where you will operate a reach truck and other material handling equipment such as a center rider forklift and pump truck.
You will train on the day shift from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday for a few weeks before switching to nights. The night shift comes with a $2 wage increase.
The work involves standing, walking, and operating equipment for extended periods, as well as working around racking, pallets, and active material handling operations. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse setting is required, along with adherence to all safety policies and procedures.
