Full job description

Part-time - days, afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends

Location: Haldimand County

Community Living Haldimand has been supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1958. We are located in Haldimand County, with sites in Dunnville, Cayuga and Hagersville.

As a member of our team you will:

Receive paid training

Have experience in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is an asset
Possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License - G or G2 and reliable transportation
Possess NVCI certification - current or take our certified course, hiring requirement
Have First-Aid/CPR Level B or C - must be current or obtain at own cost
Are comfortable with using and have experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, SharePoint, ShareVision, Teams

Direct Support Worker responsibilities:

Support adults who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in accordance with their support plan
Provide supports for daily living which may include ensuring a clean and safe living environment, assisting with personal hygiene, administering medications, planning and preparing meals
