Kitchen Prep & Baker (Back-of-House Team Member)

Columbus Café – Erin Mills Town Centre

We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Prep & Baker to join our back-of-house team at Columbus Café. This role is all about bringing consistency, quality, and care to the food that pairs perfectly with our coffee experience.

What you’ll do:

Prepare and bake fresh menu items according to Columbus Café standards and recipes
Handle daily food prep (mixing, portioning, assembling, and baking)
Ensure all products are fresh, properly stored, and ready for service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
Support the team with restocking and closing/opening duties when needed
Help maintain consistent quality and presentation of all baked and prepared items

What we’re looking for:

Experience in baking, food prep, or kitchen work (preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and consistency
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Team player with a positive, reliable attitude
Comfortable following recipes and procedures exactly
Food Handler Certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain it)
