Job Overview
Laguerre Electric Ltd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 1st Year Apprentice Electrician to join our dynamic residential and comercial electrical team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in electrical systems, providing a foundation for a successful career in the electrical trade. The apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to develop essential skills, gain practical knowledge, and contribute to various electrical projects. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, electrical work, and technical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and construction settings
Learn to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to support project execution
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for wiring, conduit bending, and other tasks
Support the installation of low voltage systems and electrical components according to specifications
Aid in reading and understanding blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate implementation of electrical plans
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members

Skills

Basic understanding of electrical systems with a desire to learn more about Residential and commercial electrical work
Experience or familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction environments is a plus
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams effectively
Knowledge of low voltage wiring and electrical components is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting
Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various project requirements
