Senior Supply Planner
Full Time, Permanent
Hybrid (3 days onsite in Concord)

Salary: $90-$105 K based on experience

Position Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Supply Planner to lead end-to-end supply planning and inventory optimization activities. This role will bridge demand planning, supply planning, and inventory control to ensure optimal product availability while minimizing working capital and supply chain risk. The ideal candidate brings strong planning expertise, advanced analytics capability, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Develop and evaluate supply scenarios based on demand variability, capacity constraints, and supplier risks
Proactively identify potential disruptions and lead contingency planning efforts
Provide recommendations to balance service, cost, and inventory risk
Collaborate with manufacturing and Supply Chain team to understand capacity limitations and constraints
Optimize inventory & supply plans within network constraints
Escalate and resolve bottlenecks impacting supply continuity
Play a key role in monthly S&OP / IBP cycles by preparing supply reviews and executive-level summaries
Ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial plans
Support decision-making through scenario modeling and trade-off analysis
Own and track key supply chain KPIs such as service level, fill rate, inventory turns, and forecast bias
Identify performance gaps and implement corrective actions
Drive accountability across stakeholders for achieving targets
Ensure accuracy of master data (lead times, MOQ, safety stock parameters, etc.)
Maintain system integrity across planning tools and ERP platforms
Partner with IT and master data teams to resolve data issues and improve system reliability
Work closely with Procurement to align on supplier performance, lead times, and order strategies
Monitor & manage inventory health, days of supply, and safety stock strategies
Support sourcing decisions with supply and inventory insights
Optimize inventory positioning across distribution networks and warehouses
Support decisions related to distribution strategy and product flow
Balance regional demand variability with network efficiency
Lead initiatives to enhance planning processes, tools, and methodologies
Support digital transformation efforts (automation, advanced analytics, planning systems)
Champion best practices and standardization across the supply chain

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Business, or related field
Minimum 6 years of experience in supply planning, inventory control, or supply chain analytics
Strong understanding of S&OP / IBP processes
Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP/APO/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
Experience with planning or analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, complex formulas, data modeling)
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Solid understanding of supply planning concepts, including inventory optimization, safety stock, and capacity planning
Familiarity with S&OP / IBP processes and planning tools
Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable insights
