What You’ll Be Doing

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including earth-moving, compact, and aerial equipment.
Diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs, testing repaired equipment for proper performance.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance, and work orders.
Contribute to a professional and safe work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and following all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements.
Participate in an on-call rotation.
Comfortable with working in both the shop and the field.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

Qualifications and Requirements:

First- or second-year registered apprentice.
Experience working on a variety of construction equipment.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
Must have own tools.
Available and willing to work overtime as needed.
Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
