Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, serving guests, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, customer service, and hospitality within a dynamic food industry setting.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for efficient cashiering and transactions
Greet guests warmly and provide excellent guest services to enhance their dining experience
Manage food safety and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations
Handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math for billing purposes
Assist with food presentation and upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
Restock supplies as needed and assist in food preparation during busy periods
Ensure timely service by managing time effectively throughout shifts

Skills

Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient cashiering
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in the food industry
Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, including serving and food preparation
Ability to manage time effectively during busy service hours
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
Kitchen experience or background in hospitality is a plus
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor for guest interactions
Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales

Pay: $17.60 per hour
