Job Overview
Try working outdoors this summer! We are seeking an experienced Catering Chef to oversee all aspects of catering operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for food service, and a comprehensive understanding of the food industry. This role involves managing catering events, supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Catering Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating culinary preparations, managing team members, and maintaining high-quality standards across all catering services.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate catering staff to ensure efficient service delivery
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
Manage the catering process from planning to execution for various events
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations
Maintain inventory levels and coordinate procurement of supplies and ingredients
Uphold hospitality standards by providing excellent serving experiences to clients and guests
Monitor operational costs and optimize resource utilization
Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and service areas at all times

Requirements

Proven management experience in a food service or restaurant management setting
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Knowledge of catering management practices and kitchen operations
Experience in the food industry with a focus on hospitality or catering services
Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, staff, and vendors
Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable
