About Us

JJRT is more than a café.

We are a community-driven space where coffee, creativity, recreation, connection, and curiosity come together. Our café supports the larger mission of creating meaningful experiences that encourage leisure, wellness, learning, and community engagement.

We're looking for someone who sees hospitality as more than serving coffee. The right person enjoys creating welcoming experiences, building relationships, and contributing to a positive environment where every guest feels like they belong.

What You'll Do

Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, mocktails, and café menu items
Deliver exceptional customer service and create memorable guest experiences
Learn and maintain JJRT's standards for quality, cleanliness, and hospitality
Assist with opening and closing duties
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment
Engage with customers and help foster a sense of community
Support workshops, events, and special programs when needed
Work collaboratively with the JJRT team to create a positive atmosphere

Preferred Qualifications

Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience is an asset
Food Handler Certification is considered an asset

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
