Full job description

General Labourer / Machine Operator

We are currently hiring General Labourers / Machine Operators on an Afternoon OR night shift, for a manufacturing facility in the Kitchener-Waterloo area.

This is a fast-paced production environment involving machine operation, quality inspection, and material handling. Training is provided.

Job Duties:

Load steel parts into production machinery
Operate machines safely and efficiently
Remove finished parts and place them onto skids/pallets
Perform visual quality inspections for scratches, chips, or defects
Measure parts using basic measuring tools
Follow production schedules and workplace safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

Minimum 3 months of manufacturing experience required
Must be able to work either afternoons or nights *
Previous machine operating experience considered an asset
Comfortable performing repetitive work throughout the shift
Able to lift up to 18 lbs on a repetitive basis
Able to stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and quality
Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and training purposes

On-the-job training available
