Full job description

We are excited to hire a Sales Professional with a focus on Safety, Packaging supplies. This is a full-time position, with exceptional benefits and an opportunity to become an important part of our rapidly growing company. This is a perfect position for someone who wants to grow and learn to manage both simple and complex sales. The role is clear: Build and execute a plan supported by strategy to grow your sales and margin to achieve your sales budget within your territory: This position is supported with a comprehensive on-boarding, training and mentoring program designed to help you make an immediate impact on growing your sales and gross margins.

The sales Territory is the Kelowna and North of Okanagan.

Salary: $60,000

Responsibilities:

Increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts
Ensure our high Customer Service Standards are met or exceeded during every interaction
Customer relationship management; develop positive, long-lasting buying relationships
Attend sales meetings and meet with sales manager on a regular basis
Problem solve and the ability to conduct needs analysis on a customer-by-customer basis to ensure appropriate safety solutions are found and employed
Contribute to the team to ensure key performance indicators are met on an individual and branch basis

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred
3-5 Years of Sales Experience (Experience specifically in the Packaging/Safety sector a plus
A strong knowledge of the Industrial Sales market is highly preferred
Requires outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties
Excellent organizational, problem solving, time management and negotiation skills
Outstanding analytical, organizational, and oral/written communication skills
Demonstrate a friendly and professional appearance
Proficient use of customer database systems and contact management software
Possess established skills to work with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word (previous experience with CRM database ACT! and an ability to learn new computer-based programs easily are assets)
