We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant Manager. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, supporting daily operations, leading a team, and helping create a welcoming and memorable experience for families.

Job Overview

As an Operations Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of the facility by assisting with team supervision, guest experience, event coordination, operational systems, and facility standards.

You will help ensure the facility operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently while supporting staff members and maintaining excellent customer service standards.

This role requires strong communication skills, leadership abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude in a fast-paced, family-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Team Supervision & Support: Assist with supervising Guest Experience Associates, coordinating shift coverage, assigning daily tasks, and supporting staff during operations.

Guest Experience: Welcome families in a friendly and professional manner, assist with guest inquiries, and help create a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for every visitor.

Operations & Facility Support: Support opening and closing procedures, monitor operational flow, conduct facility walkthroughs, and help maintain cleanliness, sanitization, and presentation standards throughout the facility.

Events & Party Coordination: Assist with birthday parties and special events, including room setups, food service coordination, event flow, and cleanup to ensure smooth and organized experiences.

Technology & Systems Support: Help troubleshoot POS systems, printers, tablets, Wi-Fi, and booking platforms while supporting daily scheduling, reporting, and communication systems.

Safety & Compliance: Monitor play areas and operational activities to help maintain a safe environment while ensuring company cleanliness, food handling, and operational procedures are followed.

Qualifications & Requirements

Friendly, energetic, professional, and reliable personality
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable remaining active and on your feet during shifts
Available to work weekends, evenings, and busy periods
Experience in customer service, hospitality, entertainment, recreation, childcare, or supervisory roles preferred
Leadership or shift supervision experience considered an asset
Comfortable using POS systems, scheduling platforms, Microsoft Office, and operational technology
Basic technical troubleshooting skills considered an asset
Food Handler Certificate required
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening required
First Aid, CPR & AED Level C certification (or willingness to obtain)
