About the Role:
As a CBRE Senior Building Operator/Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, building systems, and equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do:
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and base building systems
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs in alignment with CBRE standards
Support tenant requests and ensure service excellence across client sites
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and emergency response
Perform maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including:
Lighting systems and controls
Fire alarm system
Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions safely and efficiently
Ensure compliance with Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and all provincial regulations
Support electrical shutdown planning and execution
Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Utilize CMMS systems for work order management and asset tracking
Act as a technical resource for junior operators and contractors
Adhere strictly to CBRE and client Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs
Conduct hazard assessments (JHAs, FLHAs) and apply safe work practices (LOTO, arc flash safety)

What You’ll Need:
Valid Electrician License (Mandatory) e.g., 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician (Ontario) or equivalent provincial certification
Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering Technology, Facilities Management, or related field (asset)
Building Operator Certification (BES I & II preferred) or equivalent
WHMIS, Working at Heights, and First Aid certifications (preferred)

The compensation provided to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
