Full job description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Ad Creator and Editor with a strong background in crafting compelling video ads for mobile games. This role is pivotal in driving engagement and conversions across various digital advertising platforms, including social media, YouTube, and other gaming-focused channels. If you are passionate about games, creative storytelling, and producing high-impact video ads, this is the perfect opportunity for you to shine.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to conceptualize video ad ideas tailored to mobile games, ensuring alignment with the company’s marketing goals and target audience.

Work with game assets (e.g., character animations, gameplay footage, in-game items) to design video ads that effectively showcase the game’s features and appeal.

Plan and storyboard video content, including theme development, scriptwriting, and selecting visuals.

Use video editing software (such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Final Cut Pro) to produce high-quality, engaging video ads.

Integrate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and motion graphics to enhance the video’s impact and align with the mobile gaming theme.

Stay current with trends in mobile gaming advertising and incorporate best practices to maximize ad performance.

Optimize video ads for specific platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Unity, AppLovin, AdMob, Google Ads, Meta, and other popular gaming advertising platforms, ensuring compliance with each platform’s specifications.

Manage video production timelines to ensure on-time delivery of high-quality content.

Review and analyze video ad performance, incorporating insights into future projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

At least 2–3 years of experience in video ad creation and editing, ideally within the mobile gaming industry.
Proven track record in producing video ads specifically for mobile games, with a portfolio showcasing successful ad campaigns.
Proficiency in video editing and animation software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Spine.
Strong storytelling and visual design skills, with the ability to transform game assets into compelling narratives.
Solid sense of aesthetics, with strong visual taste, style, and an excellent eye for color harmony and composition.
Developed visual literacy and creative sensibility (“trained eye”) in both static and motion visuals.
Proficiency in handling art assets and layered files in Adobe Photoshop.
Experience generating images and audio using AI tools (for prototyping, ideation, or production).
Access to and familiarity with libraries of sounds, voices, and special effects to enhance video production.
Deep understanding of the mobile gaming industry and its audience, including knowledge of popular trends and player preferences.
Familiarity with video ad specifications and best practices for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Unity, AppLovin, AdMob, Google Ads, Meta, and other gaming ad networks.
Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A results-driven mindset with an understanding of ad performance metrics and optimization techniques.
Experience in creating Playable Ads is a strong plus, demonstrating an ability to combine interactive elements with engaging storytelling and user experience tailored to mobile gaming audiences.
