About CareGrowth:
CareGrowth Family Services is a premium care provider supporting children, youth, and families across the North Shore, Sea to Sky, and Lower Mainland.
We operate with structured homes, consistent teams, and high standards. Our focus is on providing safe, stable, and well supported care for children and youth who require more than basic supervision.
About This Role:
We are hiring for a role within a Specialized Long Term Care home under the Specialized Homes and Support Services model.
This home will support an adolescent youth with autism, communication needs, sensory needs, medical routines, and complex behavioural support needs. The youth benefits from a calm, predictable, and highly structured environment with staff who can read behavioural cues, recognize early signs of distress, and respond safely during periods of escalation.
This is a specialized residential care role, not a basic supervision role. Staff must be comfortable supporting a youth who may experience significant distress, have difficulty communicating needs verbally, and require hands on support with daily routines, regulation, personal care, safety, and health related routines.
This is not a casual fill in role. We are looking for reliable, emotionally steady, and experienced staff who can become part of a consistent team and contribute to a safe, stable home environment.
The right person for this role understands that behaviour is communication. They can remain calm under pressure, follow detailed care and safety plans, document clearly, and work closely with a team.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the youth with daily routines, structure, and emotional regulation
- Create and maintain a calm, predictable, low stimulation home environment
- Follow individualized care plans, behaviour support plans, and safety plans

- Support health related routines and monitor changes in presentation
- Administer medications and follow medical routines, with training provided
- Prepare simple meals and support food related routines as directed
