Assembler (PCBA) – Temp to Perm

What You Will Be Doing:

Performing pre-wave assembly, including the insertion of through-hole (PTH) components.
Preparing assemblies for wave soldering processes.
Evaluating completed boards after soldering for defects and quality issues.
Performing hand soldering on both SMT and PTH components.
Repairing solder defects (rework and touch-up) to meet strict quality standards.
Ensuring all workmanship aligns with IPC and internal quality requirements.
Physically capable of performing the essential duties of the position, including high attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Maintaining a clean, organized workspace and supporting overall production efficiency.

What You Should Have:

Being Bilingual is an asset but English must be your first language for this role.
Must have a minimum of 1–2 years of similar experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of SMT/PTH components and manual hand-soldering techniques.
Familiarity with IPC quality standards is highly preferred.
Must have CSA safety boots/shoes.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

In Return, You Will Receive:

$18.50 per hour
Paid weekly, every Friday, 1 week behind.
Opportunity for permanent hire.
4% vacation pay – accrued and paid out when you need it.
Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends.

The Shift You Will Be Working is:

Monday to Friday
Evening Shift: 3:20 PM – 11:50 PM (15:20 – 23:50)
Overtime as needed.

Effectuer l'assemblage pré-vague, incluant l'insertion de composants traversants (PTH).
Préparer les assemblages pour les processus de soudage à la vague.
Évaluer les cartes complétées après le soudage afin de détecter les défauts et les problèmes de qualité.
Effectuer le soudage manuel sur les composants SMT et PTH.
Réparer les défauts de soudure (retouche et reprise) pour respecter les normes de qualité.
S'assurer que la qualité du travail est conforme aux exigences de l'IPC et aux normes de qualité internes.
Être physiquement capable d'effectuer les tâches essentielles du poste, incluant une grande attention aux détails et une bonne dextérité manuelle.
Maintenir un espace de travail propre et organisé et soutenir l'efficacité globale de la production.

Ce que vous devez posséder :

Le bilinguisme est un atout, mais l’anglais doit être votre langue principale pour ce poste.
Minimum de 1 à 2 ans d’expérience similaire en assemblage électronique ou en fabrication.
Forte connaissance des composants SMT/PTH et des techniques de soudage manuel.
La familiarité avec les normes de qualité IPC est un atout majeur.
Posséder des bottes ou chaussures de sécurité CSA.
Être en mesure de réussir une vérification des antécédents criminels.

En retour, vous recevrez :

18,50 $ de l’heure
Paie hebdomadaire tous les vendredis (avec une semaine de retenue).
Possibilité d’embauche permanente.
4 % de paie de vacances accumulée et versée au besoin.
Accès à un représentant Vertical du lundi au vendredi de 8 h à 23 h ainsi que les fins de semaine.

Horaire de travail :

Du lundi au vendredi
Quart de soir : 15 h 20 à 23 h 50
Temps supplémentaire au besoin.
