Full job description

The Ideal Candidate

Applicant’s will learn and work in CM (https://www.configura.com/products/cet-developer/features) creating applications and solutions specific to the contract furniture industry

Position Summary

Using CM language and the CET Developer platform, create software solutions by writing well-designed and efficient code, enabling a fluid work process for users. Build high quality parametric tools for automating the design and specification process of system products. Develop and possess a thorough understanding of all relevant furniture product lines to ensure that the parametric tools follow coding standards and technical design.

General Accountabilities

Write and continuously improve well-designed, efficient code in an undocumented language
Study needs by conferring with users
Investigate problem areas and implement relevant solutions
Work with users and testers to analyze and resolve issues
Document and maintain software functionality

Preferred Qualifications and Educational

Post-Secondary Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
Experience in C++, C#, Java and/or any other object-oriented language a must
An understanding of how to apply
- Abstraction
- Inheritance, and
- Encapsulation principles
Experience in 3D application development and understanding of 3D mathematics
Thorough understanding of object-oriented concepts and experience in using them to build applications
Ability to work independently and collaboratively on diverse problems
Ability to quickly gather requirements, explore multiple approaches and suggest solutions
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience
Experience in agile development process such as SCRUM or Kanban is desirable
Experience in structuring code for larger projects is desirable

The expected base salary range for this position is $58,000.00- $72,500.00. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
