Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Live-In Building Superintendent to oversee the general maintenance, cleanliness, and day-to-day operations of the property. The successful candidate will help ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the overall upkeep and cleanliness of common areas and building facilities
Handle routine maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs when needed
Manage waste disposal and ensure building systems are functioning properly
Maintain indoor and outdoor areas, including seasonal duties
Respond to resident concerns and building emergencies in a timely manner

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance or a similar role
Must be full-time and live on-site
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to communicate in both English and French (preferred)
Strong sense of responsibility, organization, and initiative
Ability to handle physical tasks and respond to emergencies
References required

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) surintendant(e) d’immeuble fiable et expérimenté(e) pour assurer l’entretien général, la propreté et le bon fonctionnement quotidien de la propriété. La personne retenue contribuera à maintenir un environnement propre, sécuritaire et bien entretenu pour tous les résidents.

Responsabilités principales

Superviser l’entretien général et la propreté des aires communes et des installations
Effectuer les tâches d’entretien courant et coordonner les réparations au besoin
Gérer la collecte des déchets et s’assurer du bon fonctionnement des systèmes du bâtiment
Maintenir les espaces intérieurs et extérieurs, incluant les tâches saisonnières
Répondre rapidement aux demandes des résidents et aux situations d’urgence

Exigences

Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience en entretien d’immeuble ou dans un poste similaire
Poste temps plein avec logement sur place obligatoire
Permis de conduire valide requis
Capacité de communiquer en français et en anglais (un atout)
Sens des responsabilités, de l’organisation et de l’initiative
Capacité à effectuer des tâches physiques et à intervenir en cas d’urgence
Références requises
