Role description

Job Title: Specialist - Package Implementation

Role Summary:

The Duck Creek Insights / Extract–Mapper Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data extracts and mappings from Duck Creek Policy, Billing, and Claims systems into Duck Creek Insights / downstream reporting systems.
The role requires strong understanding of insurance data models, ETL concepts, and Duck Creek data structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Duck Creek Insights extracts and mappings from Policy, Billing, and Claims modules.
Analyze source data requirements and map Duck Creek transactional data to Insights fact and dimension tables.
Develop and modify Extract Mapper configurations, including joins, filters, transformations, and aggregations.
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and completeness of extracted data.
Support reporting teams by enabling reliable and timely data availability in Insights.
Work closely with business analysts, reporting teams, and Duck Creek configurators to understand reporting and analytics needs.
Participate in defect fixes, enhancements, and production support related to Insights extracts.
Ensure adherence to data governance, naming standards, and performance best practices.
Prepare technical documentation for mappings, extract logic, and data flows.
