TDE is searching for Mechanical Design Draftsperson who will be responsible for drawing preparation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Includes but not limited to:

Revise and generate the following drawings:
Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s)
Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s)
Pressure Vessels
Generate any other miscellaneous drawings (i.e. skids, ladders, platforms, etc) as requested.
Revise standard drawings as necessary.
Back drafting and revision of shop drawings.
Back-drafting or “As Builts” from other disciplines

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years’ experience in Vessel Design in a manufacturing environment.
Engineering Design / Drafting Technology Diploma or equivalent.
Proficiency working with AutoCad including the ability to use all features of the program.
General knowledge of ANSI and ASME codes.
Familiarity with instrument symbols, welding symbols and processes.
Proficiency with Tekla Structures (X Steel) and the ability to use all features of the program.
Extensive knowledge structural sections, detailing, and connections.
Proficient knowledge of industry best practices.
Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines.
Ability to prioritize activities, adapt to change, and stay focused in a dynamic environment.
Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Teams.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact positively with all levels of staff.
Demonstrate sensitivity and discretion when working with confidential information.
