En tant que spécialiste de l'outillage , vous serez responsable de l'outillage pour tous les programmes de moteurs P&WC, principalement pour des composants tels que les turbines, les compresseurs et les chambres de combustion. Vous aurez l'occasion de travailler au sein d'une équipe d'environ 60 personnes comprenant des agents des méthodes, des programmeurs CN, des spécialistes des procédés spéciaux et des spécialistes en inspection par MMT.

À quoi ressemblera votre quotidien ?
Vous intégrerez une équipe chargée de concrétiser les projets d'ingénierie au sein de l'usine. Concrètement, l'équipe part des plans fournis par le service ingénierie pour définir les méthodes de fabrication et sélectionner les machines qui seront utilisées en atelier. Vos missions quotidiennes consisteront notamment à :
Diagnostiquer les problèmes de performance de l'outillage et assister les équipes de production dans la résolution des difficultés d'usinage.
Recommander et mettre en œuvre des solutions d'outillage alternatives afin d'assurer la continuité de la production.
Apporter un soutien technique aux opérateurs, aux planificateurs et aux équipes de support à la fabrication.
Analyser les écarts liés à l'outillage et participer au traitement des non-conformités.
Effectuer des annotations sur les plans et apporter des corrections techniques pour répondre aux contraintes liées à l'outillage.
Accompagner l'introduction de nouvelles pièces en collaborant avec les équipes de planification et d'ingénierie de fabrication.
Définir les paramètres d'utilisation de l'outillage, les cotes de récupération et la durée de vie prévue des outils.
Contribuer à la définition des paramètres de coupe et à l'optimisation de l'usinabilité.
Initier les demandes d'approvisionnement pour de nouveaux ensembles d'outillage (porte-outils et outils de coupe) destinés à l'installation de nouvelles machines.
Compétences requises :
3 à 5 ans d'expérience
Formation en génie mécanique ou en fabrication aérospatiale au niveau collégial ou universitaire requise (ou expérience équivalente).
Le candidat doit être citoyen canadien ou résident permanent.
Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais.
Compétences souhaitées :
Expérience en programmation CN, fabrication et outillages.
Connaissances de base de Catia V5.

Our Expectations

As a Tool Applicator, you will be responsible for Tooling for all P&WC engine programs mostly involving components (turbines, compressors, combustors.). You will have the opportunity to work with a team of approximately 60 method agents, NC programmers, special process specialists and CMM inspection specialists..

What will your daily life be like?

You will be a member of a team whose responsibility is to make the dream of engineering a reality in the plant. In fact, the team starts with the design received from engineering, then defines the manufacturing methods and selects the machines that will be used in the plant. Thus, your daily tasks will be :

Troubleshoot tooling performance and support production teams in resolving machining issues.
Recommend and implement alternative tooling solutions to maintain production continuity.
Provide technical guidance to operators, planners, and manufacturing support teams.
Review tooling deviations and support disposition of nonconformities.
Perform drawing markups and technical corrections to address tooling-related conditions.
Support new part introduction by collaborating with planning and manufacturing engineering teams.
Define tooling usage values, salvage dimensions, and expected tool life.
Contribute to cutting parameter development and machinability optimization.
Initiate procurement requests for new tooling packages, including tool holders and cutting tools, for new machine setups.

Required Skills:

3-5 years of experience
An academic background in mechanical engineering or aerospace manufacturing at the college or university level is required (or equivalent experience).
Candidate should be either Canadian citizen or a Permanent resident.
Language proficiency in both French & English

Desired Skills:

Experience in NC Programming, Manufacturing and Tooling
Basic Knowledge of Catia V5.

An academic background in mechanical engineering or aerospace manufacturing at the college or university level is required (or equivalent experience). Experience as NC Programmer, Manufacturing, Methods Agent, Tooling is an important asset. A good command of French is required. A good command of English is an asset.
