We are hiring for a Full-Time Smokehouse Clerk/ Sausage Maker with a wage range of $15.00 - $18.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Rabbit Hill location)

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing recipe ingredients for smoked products (bacon, jerky, pepperoni, sausage, etc.)
Assist in the mixing, stuffing, hanging, smoking, and cooling of products
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area
Properly handle and store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
Package and display smoked products for purchase
Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience

What you Bring:

Positive, can-do personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
Comfortable working during peak grocery deli hours (i.e. evenings, daytime, weekends, and holidays)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
Experience in a smokery or butchery setting is an asset
