Position: Hybrid | Full-Time
Location: Markham, Ontario

Key Responsibilities

As the Commercial Account Manager, you will:

Provide support and partnership to the Commercial Insurance Account Executive
Deliver exceptional customer service by offering expert advice and helping clients understand their insurance coverage
Receive and process all incoming commercial documentation
Assist with quotes, review existing coverages, and ensure customer files are accurate and up to date
Prepare and submit documentation to insurers, complete applications for new clients, and issue insurance certificates
Process endorsements, invoices, and follow up on outstanding payments
Liaise with insurance companies and negotiate with underwriters to secure optimal terms for clients
Follow up with adjusters on claim status and ensure clear, timely communication with clients
Gather and provide additional information required by underwriters to support applications and renewals

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:

High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
3–5 years of experience in commercial insurance
RIBO License (required)
Experience with Epic is an asset
Previous sales experience is an asset
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
