Your Role as a Lawyer

You’ll be an integral part of our personal injury team, assisting in the management and handling of files from intake to resolution. Key responsibilities include:

Draft and review a variety of legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, pleadings, and correspondence.
Represent clients in negotiations, questioning, mediations and other legal proceedings
Collaborate with colleagues and legal professionals to create effective legal strategies and solutions.
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on issues related to Ontario laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, records, and documentation.
Stay informed about changes in legislation, legal trends, and precedents relevant to Ontario.
Build and nurture strong client relationships, providing personalized attention and exceptional service.
Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.

Requirements

Called to the Bar in Ontario with a valid license to practice law.
3-5 years of experience handling personal injury and or civil litigation files
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong time management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Eagerness to learn and a positive, can-do attitude.
