Overview
The Senior Manager, Website & Digital Marketing leads the marketing team to operational excellence by driving project management, resource allocation, and elevating our website and digital initiatives to the next level. This role is pivotal in bridging knowledge gaps across product, content, and digital strategy, ensuring clarity, alignment, and execution on key marketing projects. With a special focus on delivering a best-in-class website, optimizing user experience, and providing data-driven direction for content, you will empower the team to meet deadlines, enhance collaboration, and maximize organic and AI-driven search performance while supporting cross-functional priorities and continuous improvement. You will also lead the marketing team's AI strategy, moving from ad hoc tool use to a structured plan for how AI is embedded in how the team works, how the website performs, and how Reliance shows up in both traditional and AI-powered search.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Project Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop members of the marketing team, fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear priorities, establish timelines, and align resources to ensure successful execution of marketing projects and initiatives.
- Serve as the primary project manager for major marketing initiatives, with a special focus on the website redesign project.
- Partner closely with the company's Program Manager to align marketing plans with the broader portfolio of company initiatives, sharing project language, methodology, and reporting standards.
- Ensure tasks are well-defined, deadlines are met, and team members are supported and aware of expectations.
Website Ownership
- Own the company website end-to-end: ongoing maintenance, content updates, performance monitoring, and continuous optimization in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Audit and optimize website UX, user journeys, and conversion paths, leveraging analytics and user feedback to drive measurable improvements.
- Monitor site health, including page speed, uptime, security, and technical SEO, and coordinate fixes as needed.
- Champion the website redesign project: develop and manage project plans, track progress, and ensure the new site meets business objectives, brand standards, and delivers a best-in-class user experience.
SEO Excellence
- Lead technical SEO strategy and implementation, including site audits, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization.
- Provide data-driven content direction for the content team to maximize organic search performance and support strategic goals.
- Monitor SEO metrics, analyze performance, and report insights to the CMO and broader team.
- Stay current with SEO trends, tools, and best practices, ensuring Reliance Foundry remains competitive in search.
AI Strategy & Search Visibility
- Develop and own the marketing team's AI plan, moving the team from ad hoc tool use to a structured strategy for where, how, and why AI is applied across the function.
- Lead Reliance's approach to AI-driven search visibility (GEO/AEO), ensuring the brand and product information surface accurately in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other generative search environments.
- Identify, evaluate, and operationalize AI tools across the marketing workflow: content drafting and editing, SEO research and audits, analytics interpretation, image and video generation, and project management automation.
- Stay ahead of how AI is reshaping search, content, and buyer research behaviour, translating shifts into concrete adjustments to the website, content strategy, and team workflows.
- Partner with the CMO and broader leadership to identify high-value AI use cases beyond marketing and contribute to Reliance's wider AI roadmap.
Strategic Support & Gap Bridging
- Identify and address gaps in marketing operations, including product knowledge, campaign management, and cross-functional alignment.
- Support content strategy and planning (blog, video, social, etc.), ensuring clarity and completeness of deliverables.
- Review and improve processes for public drawings, installation guidelines, product page structure, and warranty policy alignment.
- Ensure effective task management so all team members are aware of deadlines for pages, content, and photos.
- Provide regular progress and status updates to the Program Manager and CMO for each deliverable.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on website management, SEO, and project leadership.
- Demonstrated experience owning a company website, including ongoing maintenance, optimization, and redesign or migration projects.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects from planning through execution, with hands-on experience using ClickUp or comparable PM platforms.
- Familiarity working alongside a Program Manager or PMO function, with the ability to converse in shared project management language and standards.
- Deep expertise in technical SEO and data-driven content strategy, including emerging practices for AI search optimization (GEO/AEO).
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and AI-native SEO and content tools), and a demonstrated ability to build a structured AI plan for a team rather than relying on ad hoc use.
- Working understanding of how generative search (AI Overviews, LLM-based search) affects content strategy, technical SEO, and brand visibility, and how to optimize for it.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce, plus basic HTML/CSS, and the ability to brief and manage developers and designers.
- Strong understanding of UX principles, conversion optimization, and how website performance ties to broader marketing and revenue goals.
- Experience with web analytics (e.g., GA4) and Semrush for SEO research, auditing, and reporting.
- Familiarity working in an environment with an ERP system (NetSuite or similar) for product data, inventory, and pricing flows to the website is an asset.
- Experience marketing in a B2B or considered-purchase environment preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented.

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
