Full job description

Our ideal candidate takes the initiative to work independently to produce results with little supervision. If you have a strong work ethic and can-do attitude to work collaboratively with our medical office team, then this role may be for you!

Skills Required:

Exceptional attention to detail: Ensuring accuracy in data entry, patient records, and all administrative duties
Excellent Oral and Written English Communication skills
Able to follow instructions exactly per each physician’s specific requirements
Has a gracious telephone manner and is comfortable calling patients
Enjoys and has good people skills to interact with the public
Works well on their own at a workstation or as part of the office team.
Works cooperatively with team members towards common goals, sharing responsibilities, and contributing positively to group dynamics.
Maintain focus in a busy, distracting office environment.
Handling pressure situations calmly, such as managing upset patients or a busy schedule.
Experience with Electronic Medical Records software is a definite asset.
Able to handle pressure effectively and gain satisfaction in meeting deadlines and finding meaning in your work tasks.
Enjoy a high-volume office environment working consistently at a desk using a computer
Likes to take decisive action, learning every day, working in a fast-paced environment, and interacting with areas within the organization.
Keeping work area clean and well organized.

Job Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Provide administrative support to Health Care Team, including referrals, medical forms, scanning and collecting payments.
Scheduling and confirming medical appointments with patients.
Provide assistance with client intake documentation.
Updating and ensuring accuracy of collection of patient information.
Provide empathetic and patient-centered service to ensure a positive experience for patients
Ensuring exam rooms are tidy, stocked, and clean
Work as needed to support front desk reception, and cover for staff absences.
Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
